Licensed surf instructors, solo or group sessions, spot chosen for your level and the day's tide. Board, instruction and beach theory included — kids are 100% welcome.
Wave reading, tides, safety and pop-up drills on the beach — 20 minutes that save you an hour of wipeouts.
Solo or small group. We position you, call your waves and push you in until you're paddling into your own.
Siargao has 10+ breaks around GL. We go where your level meets the day's conditions — never the other way.
Every lesson ends with what to work on next. Filmed packages include a video breakdown on the sand.

If conditions turn dangerous, we reschedule free — same trip or full refund of any deposit. Rain doesn't cancel a session; unsafe swell does. You'll never be pushed into water you're not ready for.

About
Waverider Siargao is a local surf school based in General Luna — licensed instructors who grew up on these waves, teaching them the way locals learn them.
We keep it simple: one honest rate, the board and the theory included, and a spot chosen for your level — not the other way around. Total beginner, rusty intermediate or grom on their first board, you're in good hands.
And because your first wave only happens once, we put a drone in the sky and a photographer on the sand. You go home with the wave — and the proof.
Licensed & safe
Why both?
Coaching teaches you where a wave lets you in. Filming shows you where it looks alive. Doing both means your session is planned for the ride and the frame — a crew that understands the wave from both sides of the lens.
Island first
Siargao gives everything to the people who visit it. We keep it simple: respect the lineup and the locals, pack out what we pack in, and reef-safe sunscreen only. The island takes care of us — we take care of it.
